10 Spurs Goals That Were Downright Cheeky

5. Gareth Bale's Nonchalant Long-Ranger Vs Sunderland

Venue: White Hart Lane. Season: 2012/13. Score: 1-0 Win. Gareth Bale did this kind of thing quite often when he was with Spurs, but this one was undoubtedly the cheekiest. With the score against Sunderland tied at 0-0 and the clock showing that the match was into the 89th minute, Bale received the ball thirty yards from goal. With a bunch of Spurs players in the box waiting to be fed the ball, Bale stood still, looked up and thought "nah". He sidestepped his man and launched an unstoppable rocket of a shot into Simon Mignolet's top right hand corner. It would see Spurs take all three points but miss out on Champions League qualification on the last day of the season anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc0D7Ijz2_A
