The likes of Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Carlos Tevez and David Silva have been brought in to spearhead the Citizens ground-breaking ascent to the top of the English game in recent years, as the Sky Blues have dramatically transformed from midtable also-rans to Premier League champions. Money has not been an object in persuading some of the worlds best footballers to join the Etihad revolution, but not every transfer City have made in the last six years has been successful, and some very strange decisions indeed have been made by the top brass at Etihad Stadium.
