10 Strikers Spurs Should Still Be Looking To Sign

10. Alexandre Pato

Spurs have shown an interest in Brazilian international striker Alexandre Pato on previous occasions, but apparently he turned them down. However, there's only so much time that a man of his talents can fester in the Brazilian league before the bright lights of Europe tempt him back for a better quality of football, more chance of regaining his place in the Brazilian national team, and more money. When that time comes - and hopefully it's now - Spurs should definitely make another move for Pato. Currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians, Pato scored an impressive sixteen Serie A goals in 31 starts when he played for AC Milan - and a further six goals for the San Siro giants in other competitive games - proving that he can compete in a big European league. He has ten goals in 27 international appearances to date and is still only 24 years old. He probably wouldn't be too expensive either, given that his last transfer to Corinthians only set the club back £12.18 million.
