If ever there was a player who deserved more playing time in the Premier League, it's the striker affectionately known to fans as "Chicharito" or "Little Pea" Javier Hernandez. Although he started Manchester United's opening day home defeat against Swansea City, Hernandez was taken off at half time and it seems more than likely that he will become their forgotten man yet again once Robin van Persie returns to first team action following his World Cup exploits - especially given that new United boss Louis van Gaal was his international manager at said tournament. Hernandez's goalscoring record is phenomenal and it is, frankly, absolutely baffling why he hasn't had more time on the pitch. He's made 49 starts in the Premier League and has scored 37 goals. He's scored six goals in eleven starts in the FA Cup, six goals in seven starts in the League Cup and ten goals in seventeen starts in European competition for United. He has also scored 36 goals in 66 international appearances. Tottenham could offer the diminutive star more time on the pitch and he may relish an extended stay in the Premier League rather than moving abroad - despite interest from the likes of La Liga and Serie A - just to prove a point.
