Spurs are said to be in the market for Destro and, if that's true, they should do all they can to make him their player. His club - Italian Serie A side Roma - want 25 million for their star man and, in today's market, that's not a bad price for someone who undoubtedly knows where the goal is. Destro netted 13 goals in 20 appearances for the club last season a record that puts Tottenhams current striker tallies to shame and, with only the temperamental Emmanuel Adebayor, the off-form Roberto Soldado and youngster Harry Kane on their books, Spurs' striking options would get a major boost with Destro's arrival.
The 23 year old has five caps for Italy, in which he has scored one goal against Malta in his countrys 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign - and he will only improve over the next few years.
