Oh Alvaro Morata. I just want you to be happy. You never got a fair chance initially at Real Madrid due to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema being ahead of you. So you went to find yourself in Italy but when you made it to Juventus, that pesky duo of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente were just too good to force out. You kept going though and the following season, you started almost every week. Finally, Alvaro, finally you've made it.

Well, not exactly. Juventus went and bought Gonzalo Higuain (another who got in your way in Madrid) and now you don't know if the world had been designed just to torture you. Seeking comfort in familiarity, you went back home, back to the sweet, warm embrace of Madrid. Only to find Ronaldo was still there, along with Benzema and some added Gareth Bale and Isco.

Despite the competition for places, Alvaro, you still managed a respectable goal tally of twenty goals in all competitions. Maybe it's time to move on while the going is good though, go and see Uncle Jose in Manchester. He'll look after you.

Until he brings in Ronaldo to get in your away AGAIN, that is but we'll get to that later.
