After defeating Ricky Hatton in 2007, Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing, citing a lack of motivation to continue after already accomplishing so much. It was not the first time Mayweather had announced his retirement and, seeing as how he is still active, it cannot be the last. Still, without boxing 'Money' needed something to occupy him and keep his entourage in fur coats, and made the shock decision to trade boxing for wrestling. Mayweather made his first WWE appearance in February 2008, leaving his ringside seat to come to the aid of his friend Rey Mysterio and confront the mammoth Big Show. Mayweather drew blood with a quick right hand before scurrying away, and the two clashed again to contest a 'No Disqualification' match at Wrestlemania XXIV the following month. The boxer, with a little help from a steel chair and some brass knuckles, felled the giant to ensure an undefeated WWE record to sit alongside his unblemished boxing ledger. All in the name of fun, certainly, but not Mayweathers finest hour between the ropes and better off forgotten.
I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
