David Davies/PA Archive/Press Association ImagesLuke Shaw has drawn comparisons to Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra in recent months, primarily due to his attack-minded approach to the game. Evra has earned a reputation as an attacking wingback in seasons past and the stats suggest Shaw is capable of emulating the Frenchman in that department.
According to statistics, the youngster made 141 crosses to his teammates last season in his 35 Premier League appearances - more than Evra managed - and had a 56% success rate when attempting to dribble with the ball. The attacking side to his game is certainly in need of improvement, however. Shaw only created one assist last season, though his
average pass accuracy of 79% is assuring.
