10 Things Ronda Rousey Must Do To Regain Her UFC Title
8. Eliminate All Distractions
UFC announcer Bruce Buffer recently stated that he believes Rousey's loss had a lot to do with Hollywood. Now, before you go and say that Buffer is just an announcer, he has been witness to more UFC fights than just about anyone, and has trained as well - he has an extensive background in Judo and Kickboxing, something he worked at for many years. He has several amateur fights, though he never went pro, but in short, he's a first-hand witness with an educated opinion. While Hollywood isn't the only reason for Rousey's loss, if she wants her title back, she needs to shut down that part of her life for at least six months. No distractions, straight training, no movie shoots, late night/early morning flights, press junkets, telephone interviews - forget all of it. Because frankly, when it comes to fighting, it's not just in the cage where your attention is required - every moment of your preparation needs your full attention as well.
