10 Things That Have Happened Since NUFC Last Picked Up A Point

9. Tesco Managed To Lose £6.4 Billion... And Wonga £37.3 Million

Okay so slightly misleading as Tesco haven't technically lost £6.4 billion since February 28th - although the retail giant did announce the sixth-largest pre-tax loss in UK history on April 22nd. Newcastle United's chief sponsors Wonga, meanwhile, revealed just a day earlier that they have made pre-tax losses of £37.3 million for last year. Poor publicity, a major overhaul of the controversial company and a fake-letter scandal hurt the company's takings. However, Wonga is still emblazoned across Newcastle United's shirts - despite protests from fans, MPs and councillors.
