10 Things That Have Happened Since NUFC Last Picked Up A Point

10. Lionel Messi Has Scored 13 Goals And Cristiano Ronaldo 15... While The Entire Newcastle Squad Have Managed To Find The Net Four Times Altogether

Since February 28th, Newcastle have netted just four times - and those goals have been scored by four different players. Moussa Sissoko scored the consolation in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal, Jack Colback netted in the 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, while Ayoze Perez and Siem de Jong were both on the scoresheet during the 3-2 reversal to Swansea City. Every single one of those goals were at St James' Park. However, in the period since the Aston Villa victory, Cristiano Ronaldo alone has scored almost four times the number of goals of the entire Newcastle United squad put together with 15 (albeit it in 15 games) - including five in Real Madrid's 5-1 win over Granada. That means he has scored more goals in one game than the entire Newcastle squad put together in their last eight. Lionel Messi, meanwhile, has netted more than three times the number of the goals as the Newcastle squad - with the Argentine scoring 13 in 14 since February 28th.
