Despite Dana White and Tito Ortiz now being mortal enemies, Tito holds a highly coveted spot in the UFC's Hall of Fame. One of only 11-fighters to have been included, Ortiz was the ninth inductee the news was broken to Tito prior to his last UFC scrap against the original TUF winner and fellow former 205-lbs Champ Forrest Griffin. Tito's achievements were shown to be more important than his notorious rivalry with Dana White indeed, he was inducted even after he wore a custom Dana White is my B*$ch t-shirt to the weigh-in against Lyoto Machida. It is undeniable that Tito Ortiz is deserving of his place in the Hall of Fame, having been one of the original superstars with whom the UFC originally gained its success. He held the Light Heavyweight title for a record time of 1260 days and still owns the record for most wins in the division as we have already discussed. After his recent submission of Alexander Shlemenko at Bellator 120, Tito Ortiz abruptly demanded that the UFC take him off their list, referring to the Hall of Fame. White has since responded to Tito by eloquently saying, 'who gives a s*$t what Tito wants?. Now that their former Champion is throwing his placement in the Hall of Fame back in their faces, the UFC would certainly love the MMA community to forget that he was ever inducted.
