It was somewhat of a strange home debut for Aleksandar Mitrovic. He received the two loudest cheers of the day - for warming up during the first-half and then when he replaced Papiss Cisse in the 62nd minute - but he also missed an absolute sitter. The Serbian's cameo also proved another thing - that Mitrovic will put himself about in the Premier League. Constantly buzzing around and looking for the ball, Mitrovic jumped and ran for everything. He is an impressive specimen and physically he will not be intimidated by any defender. As well as failing to connect properly with a couple of headers, Mitrovic smashed an effort off the far post from just eight yards out when it seemed easier to score after Siem de Jong teed him up perfectly with just minutes to go. Come Sunday against Southampton, if Mitrovic gets an opportunity like that then he must bury it. But this is a guy who will not take a backwards step in the Premier League, that much is certain...
