Let's start with both a controversial example and one that actually ended well for Spurs; the first game of the 2014 season saw Spurs win 1-0 at West Ham - but it could have been so much more comfortable had Kyle Naughton not been harshly dismissed for having the ball blasted at his hands from a mere couple of feet away (the incident can be seen at the 1:25 mark in the video).
