When it comes to effectiveness in the Octagon, few men can claim to be as capable of grinding out a victory as Raphael Assunção. The Brazilian has gone 10-1 since losing his UFC debut, including going 1-1 in a pair of fights with current UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw. Rob Font has proved to be one of the most exciting prospects in the bantamweight division since his UFC debut in 2014, his knockout victory against Thomas Almedia in his last fight being the biggest win in his young career.
Font exemplifies the kill or be killed attitude in his approach, but Assunção is too crafty a veteran to get caught up in the storm of offence that Font will bring. Assunção will be hoping to utilise his excellent counterpunching skills to damage Font throughout and doesn't get dragged into a brawl at any point.
