If there's one player who could steal the summer headlines away from Cristiano Ronaldo's huge move to Juventus, it's Chelsea's Eden Hazard. The Belgian was one of the top three players at the World Cup, being awarded the Silver Ball award just behind Croatia's Luka Modric. He was his nation's biggest threat, scoring three goals and assisting two more.

Every time Hazard got the ball, he looked dangerous, and it's easy for even casual observers to understand why the 27-year-old is being linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid as their next big 'galactico' signing. Hazard has been at Chelsea since 2012, winning a couple of league titles over the years and consistently standing out as one of his side's best and brightest performers.

According to The Times, Chelsea are asking for at least £200 million for their superstar, who has been identified as the perfect player to fill Ronaldo's shoes. In the wake of Belgium's third place playoff win over England, Hazard seemed to issue a "come and get me" plea to Madrid, saying he was ready for something new but that Chelsea would have the final say. When Madrid want a player, they tend to get him, so this transfer will probably go through before the window finally slams shut.
