10 Young Players Who Could Help England Win World Cup 2022

5. Jadon Sancho

Manchester City fans were sad to see Jadon Sancho go last summer, with many feeling sure that the club was losing a very special talent. The 18-year-old forward decided to further his career at Borussia Dortmund, even being awarded the number 7 shirt that had previously been worn by Barcelona's mega-money signing, Ousmane Dembélé.

Over the course of the Bundesliga season, he appeared twelve times for Dortmund, scoring one goal and contributing four assists. He also took part in the 2017 U17 World Cup, which England won, and the U17 European Championship, in which England reached the final and Sancho was awarded the Golden Player award.

A very exciting attacking talent, Sancho is only going to get better and has chosen a great club to continue his development, with Dortmund well-known for getting the best out of young stars. Blessed with excellent dribbling skills and smart passing, the sky's the limit for Sancho and his England debut might not be too far away.
