11 Players That Signed For West Ham Twice

4. George McCartney

George McCartney's career is an interesting one. Bar a short spell on loan at Leeds United, he has played for just two clubs, but he has played for them both twice. Starting at Sunderland, he earned the nickname "Mr. Consistent" following some great performances. West Ham signed the left back in 2006 and, once Paul Konchesky was sold to Fulham, he enjoyed a good run in the team. He was sold back to Sunderland in 2008 only for us to sign him back for the second time in 2011, first on loan and then making his deal permanent.
