11 Players Who Stole A Living From Manchester United

8. Bebe

His Old Trafford career has just come to an end, but Portuguese forward Bebe will go down as one of the worst United players in the modern era after showing precisely nothing in red since a huge £7.5 million move in 2010. Perhaps it serves United right though - rumour has it that Bebe was signed by United even though Sir Alex Ferguson had never seen him play - and those words came from the man himself. You do have to give the man credit though, coming from the humblest of backgrounds, Bebe showed his ability despite being homeless for much of his youth. He starred in the 2009 European Street Football Festival only to end up earning quite the pay packet from the 13 time Premier League champions. United signed the player from Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes even though he failed to play a game for them, having only signed him from Estrela earlier that summer. Something that should irk Manchester United fans further about him is that they reported turned down new Real Madrid 'galactico' James Rodriguez to sign Bebe instead. Maybe that was a teeny mistake.
