So maybe Juan Sebastian Veron is unfairly put in on this list given he was actually a top class player in his heyday, but he really didn't enjoy his greatest years at Old Trafford. Perhaps his finest moment came in United's unreal 5-3 turnaround against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, but having been brought in for an at the time British transfer record of £28.1 million in 2001, United fans and Premier League fans in general would have hoped Veron could have gone down as a great.
