A number of huge American acts have played St James' Park down the years, while even more have made themselves at home down the road at the Stadium of Light. Bruce Springsteen took to the hallowed turf on July 4 1985, while Bob Dylan made the stadium his own a year earlier. The most recent American act to play St James' was the Kings of Leon in May 2014.
