Charlie Austin is in scintillating form and already seems to be QPR's only hope of Premier League survival. His story is similar to Rickie Lambert's, although Austin's progression has been a lot quicker. Only 25, he started out at Kintbury Rangers, Hungerford Town and Poole Town, before signing for Swindon Town. Next, the former bricklayer transferred to Burnley, where he scored 20 goals in the first 17 games of the 2012-13 season. Austin guided QPR to promotion and, after missing a penalty against Hull on the opening day of the season, has went on to score eight goals in 14 games. Austin is the real deal and, whether QPR avoid relegation or not, Austin will definitely have a home in the Premier League. Due to his rise through the leagues, Austin has no international experience whatsoever but is assured enough to remain unfazed when the time comes. He has Alan Shearer-like qualities and it'll be fascinating to see where Austin goes from here. Can he put himself ahead of Rooney, Sturridge, Carroll, Welbeck, Kane and the guy at number one?
