Floyd Mayweather’s last 10 professional fights have taken place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the site of this Saturday’s super fight.

It should come as no surprise that the fight is taking place there, after all, Mayweather has a great working relationship with the casino and lives just a few short miles away.

However, Manny Pacquiao is no stranger to the famous venue either. Eight of his last 12 fights also took place at the hotel and casino resort.

However, leading up to this fight, Manny’s camp has soured on the venue due to a ticket dispute between the casino and his promoter, Bob Arum (CEO of Top Rank Promotions). It’s so bad that Pacquiao and his entourage are staying nearby at the Mandalay Bay during fight week.

While this may seem like a small advantage for Floyd, he comes into this fight the most comfortable. It’s another day at the office for him. Also, fighting in Las Vegas over an extended period of time and generating millions of dollars in revenue does not hurt with the judge selection and athletic commission. It might not be fair, but don’t think that hasn’t been talked about.

Judges Burt Clements, Dave Moretti, and Glenn Feldman have combined to judge 13 Mayweather fights and seven Pacquiao fights.
