14 Players To Represent Both Newcastle And West Ham

6. Lee Bowyer

West Ham United: 2003 and 2006-09 League Appearances: 51 League Goals: 4 Newcastle United: 2003-06 League Appearances: 79 League Goals: 6
Always a controversial figure throughout his career, Lee Bowyer was someone who gave his all on a football pitch - sometimes arguably too much, in fact, which his infamous red card for brawling with teammate Kieron Dyer while at Newcastle United proves. Having moved from Leeds United to West Ham in 2003, Bowyer made 10 league appearances for the east London club before Newcastle signed the one-cap England midfielder on a free transfer.
Between 2003 and 2006, Bowyer scored six goals in 79 appearances for the Magpies - and established himself as a mainstay in the Newcastle side. Bowyer left Newcastle to move back to Upton Park in 2006 and spent another three years with the Hammers, scoring four times in 41 league appearances before moving on to Birmingham City and then Leicester City.
