Craig Bellamy is another journeyman striker who seems to have played everywhere. By the time he joined Liverpool in 2006 he was already 27 years old and on his sixth club. He stayed for one season, netting 7 goals in 27 appearances for the club but was just as notable for his actions off the field as he was for his exploits on it.

He clashed with manager Rafa Benitez about his role and was in hot water for a bizarre golf course altercation with John Arne Riise. After sitting on the bench for Liverpool's doomed Champions League Final against AC Milan in 2007 he was moved on to West Ham later that summer.

Bellamy would go on to have spells with Manchester City and Cardiff City (more on which later) before making his way back to Anfield. Bellamy was older and supposedly wiser by this point but still managed a similar tally of 24 games and 6 goals. He did earn a League Cup winner's medal this time though.

Bellamy also played twice for his boyhood club, Cardiff City, in the latter years of his varied career. He was talismanic in his first stint, a season long loan from Manchester City, helping them to the play-offs where he was unfortunately injured as they crashed out to Reading in the semi-finals.

He returned to them properly in 2012 and finally got them into the Premier League, breaking down on the pitch as they secured promotion. Unfortunately, their time in the top flight wasn't a success. Bellamy scored just twice and they were relegated. Injuries then forced the Welshman to retire.
