Craig Bellamy left Newcastle in acrimonious circumstances in 2005 having starred in the Champions League for Sir Bobby Robson's Magpies side - and he then had to suffer on the sidelines at Liverpool succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against AC Milan in the final of Europe's premier competition in 2007. A brace from Filippo Inzaghi handed Milan revenge for their incredible loss to Liverpool two years previously - with Dirk Kuyt's 89th-minute strike proving to be merely a consolation.
