15 Worst Ever Arsenal Premier League Signings

7. Kaba Diawara

Kaba Diawara enjoyed a brief and unremarkable career at Arsenal, signing for the club in 1998 and departing at the end of the season, having failed to score any goals in 15 appearances. The Gunners had won the double the season before but with signings like this, is it any wonder Manchester United were able to reclaim the title on their way to an historic treble? Diawara makes it onto this list instead of Christopher Wreh, (cousin of George Weah) as Wreh contributed a few goals in his three year stint with the club that helped Arsenal to the aforementioned double. The Guinea striker played for 13 clubs after leaving Arsenal but only managed to score 65 goals in 341 appearances during his club career although he did score a somewhat impressive 6 goals in 13 caps for his national side.
