15 Worst Ever Sunderland Premier League Signings

14. Danny Graham

Danny Graham was signed for £5 million from Swansea, and would prove to be Martin O'Neill's last roll of the dice. Since he joined in 2013, Graham has only scored eight goals... All of them spread across three loan moves to Hull, Middlesbrough and Wolves. Yes, that's right, in 17 games for Sunderland, Graham hasn't scored a single goal. Despite his non-existent goal tally, he still garners support around the Stadium of Light. The striker's shock introduction back into the first team picture has transformed the striker into a man-possessed. Every loose ball will be chased by Graham, and that's something Sunderland fans appreciate. Effort. His high price and poor goal record don't look good at all, but there's still time for Graham to salvage some of his Premier League career if he has a strong end to the season.
