Not Kevin-Prince Boateng, who is pictured above, Jerome Boateng - or even George Boateng - yet it was almost "Georginio Boateng", because that was Wijnaldum's original surname. Wijnaldum explained that he had previously held such a name because his "mother was married to a man whose last name was Boateng", but that he decided to eventually adopt his maternal name later in life.
