20 Reasons Why Celtic Fans Are Jealous Of Rangers

13. Routinely Pull In Biggest TV Ratings In Scotland

To this day, even with all the uncertainty following the club - not to mention the supremely poor brand of football on offer - Glasgow Rangers pull in massive TV viewing figures. That's exactly why the likes of Sky Sports and BT Sport demanded the Scottish footballing authorities include Rangers in any package, because the sheer weight of numbers watching Rangers on television is phenomenal. Scottish football, and Celtic, may like to think that the Scottish Premiership is a higher level than Rangers are playing at, but they're really all missing the point. To outsiders, there's very little difference between Dundee United and Raith Rovers. This isn't Barcelona or Real Madrid being discussed here, or even Valencia, there's very little to draw neutrals into watching Scottish football outside of what Rangers are doing, especially when they were playing Celtic. It seems that no matter who Rangers have faced over the years however, they remain the top drawing card for Scotland on both a European and domestic level. Meanwhile, Celtic fans have become bored senseless by the same old, same old affairs.
