25 Worst Premier League Signings Ever
13. Eric Djemba Djemba

Another one of Sir Alex's rare mis-signings in the transfer market, the midfielder has gone down in United folklore as a player so bad, they named him twice. A shining light of the hit and miss transfer policy of the early 2000's at Old Trafford, as Ferguson sought to build another conquering European force, the Cameroon international was brought in to succeed Roy Keane as a hard tackling, no nonsense driving central midfielder.
What United fans got was a wholly inconsistent player, unable to secure a good run of form, and more akin to a headless chicken running around the park than a midfield general. The Old Trafford club persisted with him for twenty unremarkable games before offloading him to Aston Villa, where he exhibited much of the same before disappearing into obscurity.
