2. Chancel Mbemba
Are we clutching at straws a bit too much? (At the end of the day, Chancel was beaten for both of Swansea's goals) Mbemba deserves hero status as he was forced to fill in at right back after Daryl Janmaat's red card and performed admirably, dealing with the threat of Jefferson Montero far better than his Dutch counterpart did. The Congolese international is a fantastic one on one defender, and displays pace that a man with his frame shouldn't be able to. But we can't get too carried away with the 21-year-old's display as he was caught out by Jonjo Shelvey's pass for the first goal and was beaten all ends up by Jefferson for the second. He was Newcastle's man of the match on the day - if that performance was ever deserved of one...
