5 Awesome Moments For The British Lions In Australia

3. Jason Robinson (Again) By the time of the first Test in 2001, the excitement was at fever pitch. Weeks of growing tension and animosity between the two sides had come to a head, and everyone was straining at the leash for the game to begin. Everybody expected a close contest. No-one quite anticipated this. In only the second minute quick ball off a lineout finds its way into midfield. O'Driscoll is tackled but manages to throw the ball back to Rob Howley who shows phenomenal hands to take it off his toes at full speed. He's brought down, but from the ensuing ruck the ball goes swiftly through the hands to Robinson on the wing. Standing in his way is Chris Latham, but with only five metres to work in, Robinson steps in on his right, before scooting round the outside of the despairing Aussie fullback who may or may not manage to lay a fingertip on the Englishman. Unbelievable footwork, and an explosive start that was a portent for the demolition job to come.

Richard has been playing video games since the days of the BBC Micro, (and incidentally when is Chuckie Egg going to get a reboot?) He is currently available for the post of Head of Marketing at Nintendo, seeing as no-one else seems to be doing the job. He's also a major fan of fantasy/sf books and is just waiting for his novel about an assassin who doesn't wear a hood to get picked up.
