His form last season was astonishing, with the striker averaging almost a goal-a-game, striking 31 times in 33 Premier League appearances for the Reds. His partnership with Daniel Sturridge - dubbed SAS by the media - was particularly fearsome, with the duo scoring 52 goals between them and coming perilously close to shattering Peter Beardsley and Andy Cole's record of 55 in a single season back in 1993/94. SAS's formidable partnership put Liverpool on the precipice of their first ever Premier League title win, and first league win since 1990. Unfortunately for the Reds, it wasn't to be, but Suarez has to be credited for helping take them as close to winning the title as they've ever been in the last two decades.
