5 NFL Quarterbacks Who Will Improve In 2017 (And 5 Who Won't)

1. Up - Marcus Mariota

The Tennessee Titans have been one of the league's biggest success stories over the past few years. Their ascendance from bottom feeder to playoff contender can be attributed to a much improved defense, one of the league's best offensive lines, and Marcus Mariota. The former Heisman winner has given the Titans a marquee quarterback that they've been seeking since Vince Young washed out of the league.

Everything is coming together for Mariota to break out in his third season. He still has one of the league's premiere running backs, DeMarco Murray, running behind an offensive line that a tank would struggle to break through. Most importantly, however, is that the Titans have actively sought to improve their offense this offseason.

They drafted top rookie receiver Corey Davis and made a trade to bring former Jets receiver Eric Decker to Tennessee. Adding a massive target like Davis and a wily veteran like Decker to the team, as well as retaining standout tight end Delanie Walker, will allow Mariota to scorch defenses harder than ever.
