5 Reasons Man Utd Will Win Premier League In 2013/2014
5. Their Rivals Are Not As Good As They Are Being Hyped Up To Be
After the first weekend of Premier League action hyperbole for Manchester City and Chelsea went into fever pitch. Brilliant awesome unplayable were just three words used to describe them, and I will confess they were good. But lets analyse this shall we? They played Newcastle and Hull two teams that will be more concerned with finishing 17th or above. Indeed, City lost to Cardiff in their very next game. There is also an idea that both rivals have bought well. Well Navas and Fernandinho are better than Milner and Barry, but surely they are overpriced and (certainly in the case of Fernandinho) a little bit average? Negredo is a good signing, but Jovetic, Demichelis? Jury is out. Chelsea have bought well to an extent the fact they seem to own 20% of the worlds midfielders is impressive in itself. But surely they are still short of a striker and a top central defender? Both sides also finished some way behind United last season does one or two decent games and a few signings automatically make you better than the champions? No. I do expect a closer battle for supremacy this season but fans of these two teams need to calm down and get off the bandwagon before the wheels come off. And before anyone says what about us? I cant really see Arsenal, Spurs or Liverpool being consistent enough to challenge. Sorry to upset.
