5 Reasons Ronda Rousey Could Lose UFC Title This Month

Ronda Rousey remains undefeated in the UFC, but the dangerous Cat Zingano lies in wait.

Ronda Rousey has yet to lose a fight in her professional career. That could change, however, by the end of this month, when she meets Cat Zingano in the headlining fight of UFC 184. Zingano represents the biggest challenge to date for Rousey: a strong, skilled striker with solid takedown defense and a ton of heart. Zingano has battled back from tremendous adversity both inside and outside of the octagon to earn her title shot at UFC 184, and by all accounts, this is expected to be a fantastic bout between two fighters at the top of their game. It may also be the last time fans see Ronda Rousey fight for a while - she has a ton going on at the moment, with a rumored appearance at Wrestlemania, several movie projects, magazine appearances, and other media duties. She has spoken in recent months about balancing her many careers, which will likely mean fighting a little less, and perhaps even putting together an end game of sorts, to facilitate her exit from the fight game once and for all. Yet all that is still several fights away - and requires continuing on as the undefeated UFC champion. Which isn't fully assured. Maybe, just maybe, Rousey could find herself without her belt come the end of UFC 184. Maybe fans are about to see one of the biggest upsets of all time. Could it happen? Of course. It's not exactly likely, but here are five reasons Ronda Rousey could lose her belt at UFC 184.
