5 Reasons Tottenham Could Win The Premier League Title This Season
2. Big Teams Are Weaker
Spurs have always been playing catch up with the sides above them, the so called big 4 teams all have massive stadiums to create big revenues; they also get huge investments from their boards or rich foreign investors and compete in the ultra-rich Champions League too. So all those teams above Spurs are super rich and will only get richer so any team that doesnt have a budget or rich owners like them will inevitably get left behind.
This season however the big clubs despite all their wealth dont look as strong as they did the previous season. 3 of the top 4 last year have changed their boss over the summer and while the Special One is quickly settling back into Chelsea life and the Engineer Manuel Pellegrini might take longer to get into the groove at Man City he has at least made a good start. The biggest change has come at Man Und where David Moyes has the impossible job of following up the legendary career of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Arsenal may have kept their manager and their star players for a change but the natives are getting restless making them more nervous and reckless in the transfer market. Add to all this managerial swing around onto the fact high demanding players like Rooney and Suarez are actively looking to more onto pastures new then you can see all the supposed big clubs in the league have been under some pressure during preseason.
Spurs of course have gone through their own back page preseason-breaking stressful saga but compared to the other clubs it firstly doesnt come as a surprise and even when you add in all that fantasy reporting on the subject Spurs still look far more stable than a lot of their top 4 rivals. Any chance that their rivals might be weaker would support Tottenham having a real chance at chasing down the title if they are still in the hunt come late in the season.
