5. José Mourinho
The Portuguese man is perhaps the key reason why Chelsea will be winning silverware in May. A smooth operator, who knows how to get the best out of a dressing-room,
he's won titles everywhere he's gone. A Champions League with Porto, a La Liga with Real Madrid, and not to mention 2 Serie A titles and a Champions League in his 2 seasons with Inter Milan. He also had a 9-year unbeaten home league record, managing Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid, before Sporting Gijon brought that record to an end in 2011 However, the main reason is that he's one of only two managers of the 20 currently managing in the English Premier League to have won the title before, having won the title twice with Chelsea in 2004-5 and 2005-6 in his 4 years at the club. He's the
only Premier League manager to have won a European Cup title, having won 3 of them, two with Porto, one with Inter Milan. He knows how to win a Premier League, and how to get the best out of his players. His pedigree as a manager is unmatched, and he'll be desperate not to blemish his unbelievable record this season at Stamford Bridge. More importantly,
he had a good relationship with senior Chelsea squad players such as John Terry and Frank Lampard prior to his departure, which will prove important as the season progresses, as he's unlikely to lose the dressing-room, an occupational hazard of being Chelsea manager.
