5 Swansea Players Who Newcastle Must Be Wary Of

4. Jefferson Montero

Jefferson Montero was unable to establish himself as a permanent starter for Swansea last season but the Ecuadorian midfielder has started the new season in style. The 25-year-old made Branislav Ivanovic forget how to play as a right full-back last weekend and consistently eased past the normally-so-reliable Serbian defender. His crossing ability looks to have improved since last season and on several occasions he provided Bafetimbi Gomis with pin-point deliveries that caused the Chelsea defenders problems. Daryl Janmaat struggled with the pace of Southampton€™s Sadio Mane in the second-half last weekend and will need to be more positionally aware against Montero, who will line up against the Dutch defender, this time out.
