2. Daniel Cormier

It wouldn’t be hard to look like a nice guy against serial mess up merchant Jon Jones but in his own right, Cormier deserves a spot on the list.

The family man has certainly not had an easy time and he could have chose another path in life. When he was seven, Cormier's dad was shot and killed. He then lost a school friend and a cousin in separate car incidents. In 2003, Cormier’s three month old daughter tragically passed away when an 18 wheeler ploughed into the back of the car she was travelling in.

However, Cormier has spoke about how he took these horrendous occurrences to motivate him to be the best version of himself.

He has recently taken on the role of head wrestling coach at Gilroy High School in northern California, and is also head coach at AKA Youth Wrestling Club. However, he confirmed he will not earn any money from the high school. Instead, he’ll opt to give his pay to his assistant coaches.
