5 UFC Fighters Who Are Actually Nice Guys

3. Mark Munoz

With an unremarkable record and no UFC title, you’d be forgiven for not remembering Mark Munoz's name instantly. When ‘The Filipino Wrecking Machine’ retired in 2015, he left the sport having made no enemies, no feuds, and no issues but with the unofficial title of the nicest guy in MMA.

Munoz’s MMA training started after he was attacked for a pair of trainers and bullied as a child. Once he made it to a position in his life where he could influence and make a change to people, he teamed up with Orange County Department of Education and launched an anti-bullying campaign. This gave him the opportunity to go into high schools and talk to students about his personal experiences of bullying and why it shouldn't be happening.

Even after retiring from fighting, Munoz found himself spending more time than ever in the gym helping others. He eventually made the difficult decision to close Reign Training Center so that he could spend his time enjoying his life with his wife and four children.
