5 Unhappy World Class Strikers Who Want A Summer Transfer

4. Carlos Tevez

Like me, you may be thinking "wow, Tevez linked with a move away, what a surprise" in a Charlie Brooker-esque sarcastic tone. However this time it seems serious, and the Argentinian is finally set to seal a move away from the Etihad. And, similarly to previous windows, several of Europe's finest clubs have been linked to the ex-Manchester United striker, from Juventus and AC Milan to Monaco and PSG. It's even rumoured that Tevez may link up with old club Corinthians or return to Argentina for a spell at Boca Juniors. Though it is still uncertain who Tevez is most likely to move to, it remains clear that he may be on the move. Though he enjoyed more than double the appearances in 2012-13 of the preceding season, Tevez frequently argues that he should be starting game-in, game-out and the quality that Manchester City have at their disposal, particular up top, in conjunction with his poor relations with Roberto Mancini made this an improbable task. Under the next City boss (most likely Manuel Pellegrini) his wish may be granted, but Tevez still seems likely to move elsewhere in search of an omnipresent season in 2013-14. If there is one thing that has been proven in the past, it is that Carlos is a difficult player to manage. Spells at Manchester United and West Ham show this where he shared a similar wantaway attitude that led to a rift between himself and Mancini under City. Tevez hasn't been called up to represent his national side in almost two years, suggesting that he has got on the wrong side of his international, as well as domestic, manager. However the Argentinian's quality is there for all to see, and under the right manager he could show the form that led to both Manchester clubs splashing the cash to acquire him. Imagine Tevez under Mourinho's Chelsea side, that could be deadly. Chance of moving: 50% - nothing is ever clear with Mr. Tevez. Where to: Juventus are odds-on favourites, though Monaco, Milan, PSG and Real Madrid are reportedly chasing the 29-year-old. For how much: Anywhere between £20-30 million.
