The quartet of strikers that helped United to the treble in 1999 are widely regarded as the most successful four ever to play for the club at the same time. Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Teddy Sheringham scored a total of 66 goals between them over the course of the 98/99 season.

The Impact

Although the former Spurs man only contributed 5 to that tally, 1 of those came in the FA Cup final and the other is arguably the most important goal in United's history: the equaliser in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

He was often brought on as an impact sub but also no stranger to the starting line-up, with a total of 73 league starts and a return of 31 goals. An excellent addition to the squad who adapted his game significantly in order to make the best of his talent at that age. Oh Teddy Teddy.
