3. Czar Ferreira vs. Andrew Craig
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYJa51pbff4 Weight Class: Middleweight Ferreira vs. Craig's placement on this card is something of a puzzler: Craig (9-2) has three wins to two losses in the UFC, and has been trading wins and losses in his last four. Ferreira (7-3) is the winner of the inaugural Ultimate Fighter Brazil middleweight tourney, but is coming off a loss to C.B. Dollaway this part March. With both fighters coming off losses, and neither being ranked by the promotion, why then is this fight so high up on the card? Well, Craig is a Texas native, and the event is being hosted in San Antonio. So there's your answer: pandering to local fans. Personally, this is the type of fight where, with no disrespect to the fighters involved, fight fatigue kicks in as a fan. There are 21 UFC fights scheduled for June 28th between UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt and this card. A six fight main card is a stretch to begin with; combined with a second card, we're really pushing as far as the necessity of this fight on the card is concerned. That said, the fighters have a job to do. For this one, look for Ferreira to upset the home town favourite with a submission in the first half of the fight.
