Anyone who isn't living under a rock surely must have heard about Man Utd's new £52 million Brazilian signing or know all of the juicy transfer rumours surrounding Liverpool, Man City and Real Madrid. Will the Champions League winners nab Pochettino as their new gaffer? Will Liverpool oust Loris Karius and bring in a new keeper?

Who cares, because Leicester have done some cracking work this summer and Arsenal have just signed a seven-time Serie A winner for free.

It's a sign of the times that a reported £22 million move flies under the radar, but that's the way the modern transfer market works. In an era of record-breaking switches every window, around £20m for a new full-back is part and parcel of the transfer merry-go-round. It shouldn't be though, because The Foxes have themselves one hell of a deal.

Elsewhere, Wolves have been quietly securing their Championship-winning squad, West Ham pulled a fast one over Premier League returnees Fulham, Inter put Italian rivals Lazio in their place and even Rangers up in Scotland have been pulling off shrewd deals.
