7 Awesome Football Transfers You Might Have Missed This Summer
3. Diogo Jota (Wolves)

Or, they cost a reported €14 million (approx £12 million) and come to those who wait.
This transfer was technically agreed in January, but Wolves didn't part with any cash for free-scoring Diogo Jota until the window opened. Then, they gladly forked over the fee to Atlético Madrid and secured someone who lit up the English Championship last season by netting 17 league goals, some of which he made look effortless.
By permanently signing the Portuguese star, Wolves have one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in the Premier League at their disposal. Much like Willy Boly, he already knows what success means to the club's fans, has a great relationship with manager Nuno Espírito Santo and will want to make his mark at a higher level.
Around £12 million is pocket change for a club on the up too.
Jota consistently proved his quality during 42 appearances in the 2017-2018 season, and he'll be an important player for Wanderers as they vie to stay in the top division.
