Whilst Denis Kang may not be the most accomplished fighter that Bisping has ever beaten, this fight makes his top five as it came on the heels of the aforementioned loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100. It had marked the first time that "The Count" had ever been knocked out in his professional career, and with the Kang fight - similarly to the upcoming Henderson rematch - taking place in his hometown of Manchester, England, the pressure was on Bisping to bounce back.
It was far from a straightforward victory for Bisping, with Kang dropping him in the first round. The Brit battled through adversity however, rallying back in the second round with takedowns and following them up with some impressive ground and pound.
Bisping eventually got the TKO stoppage late into the second round, and earned himself a Fight of the Night bonus.
With the win, Bisping ensured that the Manchester crowd went home happy and showed that he was no by means on a downturn in his UFC career, no matter how savage the KO he had suffered in his previous bout.
