7 Players Who Could Save Alan Pardew's Newcastle Career
7. Ayoze Perez
The news heading into Newcastle's Must-Win (but not for Pardew's job) game at Swansea City was that the manager is looking to change his team to counter the lack of an attacking thrust, by bringing in Ayoze Perez. On the back of a four goal haul for the reserves, the highly rated, mobile forward has earned himself some plaudits and calls from fans to give him more than a cameo chance in the first team. Quite whether he will get an extended run remains to be seen, with Papiss Cisse returning to fitness, but Perez will offer something different to the hold up play of Emanuel Riviere. He is quick, technically impressive, and if he was played alongside a more robust striker, he could be the answer to Newcastle's problems breaking through the opposition back-line.
