Every season we see things in the Premier League that surprise us for better or worse. We've seen Leicester win the league, Newcastle relegated and Michu score 18 goals in a season for Swansea.
That's the magic of football.
And prior to the premature end to this season's football - which may come back, but it's all up in the air at the minute - this term has once more seen a lot of surprises from both teams and individuals.
On the team front, Sheff Utd have done phenomenally well, Man City surprisingly badly (comparatively speaking) and other teams expected to do badly are just about okay for now.
But what about the players specifically who've surprised us all?
The first entrant is also one of the first of many young Englishmen on this list.
Todd Cantwell is another product of Norwich's excellent academy. The 22 year old has been one of the shining lights of a struggling Norwich side this season. The winger has registered 6 goals and 2 assists so far this season. This is a good tally considering he's playing for the side bottom of the table.
Expect many of the Premier Leagues top dogs to be interested in Cantwell should Norwich be relegated this season.
